Hi I’m Rose,

I love traveling and I saw so many beautiful places in the world, then they told me about Italy and the places that are between Tuscany and Lazio and I came to visit these places!

I have just arrived in Pienza, in Val d’Orcia, here people are hospitable and very nice. Quiet people who live in a magical place. They told me that the Val d’Orcia is a valley protected since years by UNESCO as a world heritage site, and they are right! It is truly a place to be protected, the campaigns are full of crops and change color based on them. In the distance the Amiata stands out, an ancient volcano characterized by chestnut and beech trees and where in winter is possible to ski.

Pienza, also called the ideal city, is a beautiful example of a Renaissance city that, besides being characterized by its beautiful monuments, is famous for the production of Pecorino cheese and for oil. Although it is a small village, it is very popular with tourists during the year, and it has all the services! Often you can find street markets, town festivals or the local market on Saturdays, but you can also find interesting themed exhibitions. I just visited the Romeo and Juliet exhibition, very romantic!!!
