A wonderful eighteenth-century building of an ancient noble family, in the heart of Rome, on Via del Gambero, between Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, is coming back to life.
Signed by the architectural firms “Tamburini” and dL Engineering” of Rome (for the restoration part) and ‘Scandurra’ of Milan (for the interior design part), the palace is in its final stage of restoration, which has made it able to offer all the comforts of today while respecting the original materials and preserving the charm of the period. The imposing entrance leads into modern rooms, studied in detail, in line with the needs of daily life. Three staircases, one of which is monumental, with related state-of-the-art elevators, serve the various floors for a total of 28 apartments all unique and different from each other, four of which have large terraces. Each apartment has been given a distinctive name, taking inspiration from the great Italian masters: painters, sculptors, poets and composers. Stairway A, the Monumental stairway, serves the apartments facing Via del Corso in the pedestrian area.
The apartment, on the second floor of the Palace, is a Piano Nobile residence with high coffered ceilings in the salons. The highly representative entrance hall leads to the salons, three rooms that connect to each other, one of which has an 18th-century balcony and another with a representative fireplace. The salons have tall windows overlooking Via del Corso, giving the rooms sumptuous perspectives.
Also from the entrance hall, there is access to the service area, with a large kitchen and area reserved for housekeeping, laundry, ironing room, small inner courtyard, service room with bathroom, as well as a guest bathroom.
