Within the “Istituto degli Innocenti” the presence of volunteering has always been very strong.

The many projects realized in synergy with the territory are supported to meet the needs of assistance to children and families in need.

Thursday, June 28th was held inside the beautiful cloister designed by Brunelleschi an evening of charity in favor of this voluntary service and in support of the Institute, a help came from the heart by all the participants who were present at the evening.

The Carratelli Luxury Homes could not miss an event so rich in altruism and charity that wants to remind everyone of the importance of a structure like the “Istituto degli Innocenti”.

An opportunity for different experiences and activities for children, support for mothers and families, health visits, paths for social inclusion in support of women, charity shows for children and mothers in difficulty and open meetings for citizenship aimed at all.

An example of how for years this structure and the people who run it are so active for the sake of those who are having more difficulties.

Just like them, the Carratelli Luxury Homes wanted to give support by participating in the event.

In the evening, studded with important Florentine personalities and not only, the “Nocentino” awards were also awarded, which the Institute wished to give to those who support solidarity projects with great commitment. Names like the Ferragamo Foundation and the Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A. who contributed to the renovation of Casa Rondinella, an apartment for mothers and children in difficulty; to Paolo Fresco for his commitment to helping improve the living conditions of children; at the Pitti Firenze Lions Club for the multi-year support of the “Adopt a work” project, which has contributed to the restoration of works of art conserved in the Museo degli Innocenti. A special award went also to the journalist Stefano Fabbri for his attention to social issues and the activities of the Istituto degli Innocenti.
The event served to present “Adotta il tuo progetto“, an initiative aimed at raising funds for the projects of the Istituto degli Innocenti in the cultural and socio-educational field.
