DESCRIPTION
A wonderful 18th-century palace of an ancient noble family, in the heart of Rome, on Via del Gambero, between Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, is coming back to life.
Signed by two important architectural firms from Rome (for the restoration part) and an equally important one from Milan (for the interior design part), the palace is in its final stage of restoration, which has made it able to offer all the comforts of today while respecting the original materials and preserving the charm of the period. The imposing entrance leads into modern rooms, studied in detail, in line with the needs of daily life. Three staircases, one of which is monumental, with related state-of-the-art elevators, serve the various floors for a total of 28 apartments all unique and different from each other, four of which have large terraces. Each apartment has been given a distinctive name, taking inspiration from the great Italian masters: painters, sculptors, poets and composers. Stairway A, the Monumental stairway, serves the apartments facing Via del Corso in the pedestrian area.
The apartment is located on the second floor, which is accessed through a main entrance of high representation and from which one enters the salons: three rooms that connect to each other, one of which has an eighteenth-century balcony and another with a representative fireplace. The salons have tall windows overlooking Via del Corso, giving the rooms sumptuous perspectives.
Also from the entrance hall, there is access to the service area, with a large kitchen and area reserved for housekeeping, laundry, ironing room, small inner courtyard, service room with bathroom, as well as a guest bathroom.
A corridor well separates the living area from the sleeping area, which consists of three double bedrooms, each served by its own bathroom, including a master bedroom with a room with large spaces.
Also included is an apartment located on the second floor adjoining the main one, of about 213sqm, currently composed of a large entrance hall, from which one enters the living area with an extraordinary double exposure; the main living room with open kitchen is placed between the two courtyards, the monumental one of the entrance and the one set up with plants and planters, with large windows on each facing for a spectacular brightness. At the end of the living room, a hallway leads to a bathroom and a bedroom served by an additional dressing room. The master sleeping area, separate from the living area, with direct access from the entrance and pleasant view of the main courtyard of the building, consists of the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom while the other two bedrooms, including a single, are served by two bathrooms in front of them. Such an apartment lends itself to becoming a guesthouse in support of the main apartment or a studio or office.
The Palazzo then becomes a period residence capable of sustaining the rhythms of daily life thanks to the most modern services, such as: concierge, video surveillance at the entrance for access to the ground floor and common areas, radiant floor heating, a/c, latest-generation home automation, dedicated lobby to receive guests. A convenient laundry room and a cellar on the S1 floor complete the property.
